More information about Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc trocken - Weingut Kiefer
With the Weingut Kiefer Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it offers a wonderfully brilliant color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World wine reveals wonderfully expressive aromas of gooseberry and white currant, rounded off by sun-warmed rock and forest floor.
The Weingut Kiefer Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the upper price range. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate.
Vinification of the Weingut Kiefer Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Cabernet Blanc. Only the best grape material was used for this wonderfully elegant varietal wine from Weingut Kiefer. In Baden, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, loess and volcanic rock. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Martin Schmidt Cabernet Blanc is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
