More information about Maximus Sankt Georgenberg trocken - Pfannebecker
With the Pfannebecker Maximus Sankt Georgenberg comes a first-class organic red wine in the glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, crimson color. At the edges, this German red also shows a transition into garnet red. If you give it some air by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, as it does not stand out on the walls of the glass in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like way. The first nose of Maximus Sankt Georgenberg tells of plums, damsons and black cherries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity and balsamic nuances.
The Pfannebecker Maximus Sankt Georgenberg impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with only 0.5 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the premium and site wine segment, this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Maximus Sankt Georgenberg flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking juicy liveliness at the same time. The finale of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen, more precisely from Pfeddersheim, finally thrills with a beautiful finish.
Vinification of the Maximus Sankt Georgenberg from Pfannebecker
This balanced red wine from Germany is cuvée organically from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures.
