The Cayrol Carignan Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Lafage is a varietal, harmonious and powerful red wine from the French wine-growing region of Languedoc-Roussillon.
This wine shines in a beautiful dark cherry red in the glass. On the nose, this red wine presents intense aromas of juicy ripe fruit, especially red currant, blueberries and black cherries. The fruity aroma is perfectly underlined by notes of rosemary. On the palate, this Southern French red wine has a very good structure, grainy tannins and a refreshing acidity that create a nice tension and finish in a round, long reverberation.
